Greaves sports is a large company with several high street outlets. The company operates a master database that defines products, product variants, prices and stock levels. This system not only coordinates in-store EPOS sales but is also required to synchronise with online retail channels. INDEZ has devised a simple database feed system that is used to synchronise online and offline sales.

An important aspect of the online website is the way in which the online system is able to fit in with existing business processes and established ways of working. When orders are placed, this creates a business process that results in the production of pick lists that can then be used by in-store staff to fulfill the sale. The system optimises flexibility and in-store sales staff availability.

The website has been developed so that it is able to extended through the concept of "departments". The site not only has specialised departments for each of the main sports that it supports, it also has the infrastructure to develop specialised departments based around a particular manufacturer or garment-type.
